Anant-Radhika pre-wedding bash:
- Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg and his wife Priscilla Chan have arrived in Jamnagar for the three-day pre-wedding celebrations of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant. Mark Zuckerberg and Priscilla Chan were seen in Jamnagar with garlands around their necks as folk musicians welcomed them.
The Ambani family will be hosting a lavish 3-day pre-wedding celebration from Friday, March 1. The gala event will be attended by the who’s who from all fields. Earlier today, pop icon Rihanna also arrived in Jamnagar. She is one of the many prominent artists who will be performing at the function.
Actor Shah Rukh Khan has also arrived in Jamnagar along with his family. Arijit Singh and Diljit Dosanjh are also a part of the extensive lineup of musicians who will perform at the grand event.
Anant and Radhika’s pre-wedding functions began on Wednesday with ‘Anna Seva’. The Ambani family started Anna Seva (community food service) in villages near Reliance’s Jamnagar township.
Singer Arijit Singh and music composer duo Ajay-Atul will also entertain the audience with their performances. Reportedly, another highlight will be world-renowned Illusionist David Blaine’s act.
It was earlier reported that for the pre-wedding bash, a detailed dress code planner, along with a visual mood board for each theme, has been sent to all the guests along with the invitations.
Business tycoon and Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani’s younger son Anant Ambani is all set to tie the knot with Radhika Merchant on July 12. However, the Ambani family has planned a grand three-day pre-wedding bash in Jamnagar, Gujarat from March 1. The festivities will conclude on March 3.
Several Indian as well as international celebrities are expected to perform at the grand event. According to a report in India Today, Hollywood pop-icon Rihanna and Punjabi actor-singer Diljit Dosanjh will enthrall the guests with their performances.Ambanis have also organised a gala called Mela Rouge, for which the dress code has been assigned as ‘dazzling desi romance’. The third and final day also has two events — ‘Tusker Trails’ with casual chic dressing in the morning and ‘Hashtakshar’ in the evening with heritage Indian wear dress code.
Reportedly, the pre-wedding will be attended by celebs like Amitabh Bachchan, Rajinikanth, Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Salman Khan, Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, Akshay Kumar, Vicky-Katrina, Saif-Kareena, Ranveer-Deepika, Karan Johar and others.

The village near the Reliance Township wore a festive look on Wednesday as Mukesh Ambani, Anant Ambani and other members of the Ambani family, as well as Radhika Merchant, served traditional Gujarati food to villagers.
Radhika’s maternal grandmother and parents Viren and Shaila Merchant also took part in the Anna Seva. Food will be served to about 51,000 local residents and this practice will continue for the next few days.
After the meal, the attendees enjoyed traditional folk music where famous Gujarati singer Kirtidan Gadhvi stole the show with his performance.
Even when the country was facing the challenge of the Covid-19 pandemic, Reliance Foundation, under the leadership of Anant Ambani’s mother Nita Ambani, ran the world’s largest food distribution programme. Taking forward the family tradition, Anant Ambani started his pre-wedding functions with Anna Seva.
A beaming Mukesh Ambani told the locals: “We have begun Anant and Radhika’s wedding rituals from Jamnagar itself. My mother is also from Jamnagar and since the last 30 years, we’ve been making our village proud in the whole world. Thanks to all of you for your welcome. Have a happy feast.”
