Kothagudem: On Saturday, a BJP worker filed a complaint against KV Ranga Kiran, the BJP district president of Kothagudem, alleging that he made casteist remarks.

Sunnam Mary, a party worker from Mandalapalli village in Dammapet mandal, reported the incident to the Kothagudem one-town police. According to Mary, on June 2, she and 20 other mandal-level party workers visited the BJP district office to discuss party-related issues with the district president.

Other BJP workers, including Vasam Polaiah, Karam Ratnakumari, Gurrala Krishnaveni from the ST community, and G Mutyala Rao from the SC community, were also reportedly subjected to caste discrimination.
